All Saints Day

In Poland, Catholics often light candles on 1st November to honour and remember every saint. These candles may be lit in churches as part of an offering at an altar or in cemeteries. Sometimes at home. The candles usually remain lit through to All Souls’ Day, which is the main day of remembrance of the deceased, especially family and friends.
