Polish Cookbook

Our family cookbook consists of several hundred handwritten recipes dating back to the early part of the twentieth century. Due to the families mixed heritage and location in a part of central Europe, which has over time been part of Poland and a part of Germany, the recipes and notes contained in the book are written in a mixture of Polish and German! This unique bit of history is the basis for most of the recipes we have included in the PolishPoland website. The copyright for the recipes remains with us and they should not be reproduced or reused in either printed or electronic form without our express written permission.
