Lakinski Pyramid

An interesting monument that isn’t widely known about both within and outside Poland is the Łakiński Pyramid in the town of Wągrowiec in the province of Wielkopolskie. It stands 10 meters tall and was erected in 1845 as a monument to a Polish captain caled Franciszek Łakiński. who fought in the Napoleonic Wars on the side of the French.
