Here are a couple of our favourite carp recipes:
Simmered Carp with Vegetables
Clean and wash carp; cut in sections; season with salt and pepper. Place fish, sliced carrots, onions, butter, raisins in deep saucepan. Add water to cover. Cover tightly. Simmer until tender. Makes 2 large servings
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Combine ingredients. Place in greased loaf pan. Bake for 40 minutes. Serve with fresh salad, small boiled and buttered potatoes sprinkled with parsley.
